Graves Art Gallery

Graves Art Gallery, Surrey Street, Sheffield, S1 1XZ.
Located above Sheffield Central Library, Graves Art Gallery houses a collection of 19th and 20th Century Modern Art, as well as an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions.
The collection encapsulates the story and development of Modern Art. The main trends and movements are traced through works by many well-known artists, from Pablo Picasso and Pierre Bonnard to Sir Stanley Spencer and Helen Chadwick.
The recent refurbishment of the gallery has restored it to its original 1930s splendour which proves welcoming to novices to the art world and culture vultures alike.
