Alloa Tower
Alloa Tower, Alloa Park, Alloa, Clackmannanshire, FK10 1PP.
Dating from the 14th century, Alloa Tower is the largest surviving keep in Scotland. It was the ancestral home of the Earls of Mar.
There is a medieval dungeon and fineoak roof beams. A nItalian-style staircase was added in the early 1700s. The collection of portraits and silver are on loan from the present Earl of Mar and Kellie.
