Brodick Castle was the historic seat of the Dukes of Hamilton, and home of the Duke and Duchess of Montrose until 1957. There are collections of paintings and antique furniture.

The country park has wildflower meadows with grazing Highland cattle, woodland trails and waterfalls. There is an adventure playground, coffee house and restaurant.
