Basingwerk Abbey

Basingwerk Abbey, Near Greenfield, Holywell, Clwyd, CH8 7GH.
Basingwerk was a Cistercian Abbey originally founded as a house of the order of Savigny in 1131. It was remodelled in the 13th century and again at a later period and its substantial remains are still open to the public.

All Year Round 10:00-16:00  Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat

Note: Times are approximate as Basingwerk Abbey is an open site which may be visited at any reasonable time - usually between 10am and 4pm
