Situated on the edge of Dartmoor we are the sensible and proven choice for groups, families, individuals, adults, children and birthday adventures. Our aim is to provide a friendly, professional, safe experience in the most amenable environment available for participants.
Established in 1979 The Rock Centre has been providing adventurous activities for several generations, our reputation as a unique and professional provider continues to grow. What makes us exceptional is our own beautiful ten acres of grounds with limestone cliffs, caves and trees creating a perfect environment for a wide variety of activities. We are licensed to provide instruction in Rock Climbing, abseiling, caving, mountaineering/hill walking and sea level traversing.
Try our onsite facilities including our indoor climbing wall or take our expertise to any offsite venue. Our onsite climbs and abseils allow you to gain confidence and take you onto steeper more exciting challenges at your own pace. Our three high ropes circuits (Tree Top Adventure) provide a thrilling challenge for all levels of ability. Spend a fun filled expedition moving from tree to tree on zip slides, swings, rope bridges, airy platforms...and much more.
Unlike most providers we work in small groups e.g., even a group of 50 works with 1: 4 (1: 6 for caving), no waiting = maximum fun.
Although based in Devon we offer climbing and caving activities countrywide. Try a hot rock climbing weekend on Cornish granite or an exciting week exploring the vertical potholes of the Yorkshire Dales. Call us to arrange your adventure.
