120 brave Argos employees throw down the gauntlet in an ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge, aiming to raise a massive £4,000 for cancer charity Leukaemia Research at stately home Lotherton Hall.
12 teams, each boasting 10 employees from Argos stores across Yorkshire, will battle with foam, water and inflatables at the fun day, which also includes an Easter egg raffle and a merchandise stall.
Teams taking part include: Leeds Crown Point (retail park store) ‘The Crown Jewels,’ Pontefract ‘The Ponte Pirates,’ Leeds Colton Park (retail park store) ‘The Colton Crusaders,’ Guiseley ‘Dave’s Trojan Horses,’ Halifax Green Mount ‘Danny’s Diamonds,’ Wakefield Ridings ‘Cheeky Chunky Funky Monkeys, ’ Leeds Eastgate (street) ‘Lister’s Lions, White Rose (shopping centre), Otley - ‘Team Riverdance dee dee dee, ’ Hull Marketplace ‘Hulligans, ’ Goole ‘Goolie Gang Stars,’ Barnsley Peel Street ‘The Barnsley Tykes, and ’ Wakefield Cathedral - name tbc.
