Bocketts farm is a working family farm with old and modern breeds of animals and lots of other attractions. The farm grows a variety of crops, including spring barley, pumpkins and sweetcorn. There are also many different animals and the births of lambs, goat kids, calves, piglets, foals, chicks, ducklings and goslings throughout the year ensure that there are always baby animals of one kind or another to see while visitors can also learn about the seasonal aspects of farming, lambing, shearing, hay makying and the harvest. On wet days the farm often has have an activity table where the children can try crafts like badge making. When the weather is fine visitors can enjoy less traditional activites such as pig racing.
