Formerly a dairy farm, Burpham Court specialises in rare breeds. The 76 acre farm is home to animals on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust list. There are White Park cows (brought by the Romans), Belted Galloway and Longhorn. Sheep include Norfolk Horn, Portland, Soay, Wiltshire Horn, Whitefaced Woodland, Leicester Longwool, Manx, Southdown and Shetland. Goats include Golden Guernsey and Bagot. There are also a collection of rare and less common hens, ducks, pheasants and peacock. There is a family of llamas in the front paddock. Visitors can also enjoy angling or go for a walk along the nature trails.
