This terraced house is the childhood home of Sir Paul McCartney of the Beetles, and his brother Michael.

The Beatles composed and rehearsed some of their earliest songs here. The house is furnished as it would have appeared during the 1950s and early 60s when Paul and his family lived there.


There is no direct access by car or on foot. Visits are by combined minibus tour only with Mendips, the childhood home of John Lennon. Admission by guided tour only, 4 tours depart on days open to the public. To guarantee a place on a tour visitors are advised to book in advance. Tours depart by minibus from the city centre in the morning and Speke Hall in the afternoon.
