The history of Althorp is the history of a family. The Spencer’s have lived there for nearly five centuries and twenty generations. Visitors to Althorp are invited to view the house, grounds and the acclaimed exhibition celebrating the life of Diana, Princess of Wales. The house contains a variety of furniture, ceramics as well as collections of portraiture. The house is set in 450 acres of idyllic park, much of which has remained unaltered over the past 500 years.
