Grand 18th-century Palladian mansion which was saved from ruin and lovingly rstored by Lord and Lady Iliffe during the 1950s. The house contains a fine collection of paintings, furniture and textiles. It is set in parkland overlooking the River Thames. The House was used as "Netherfield" in the Hollywood remake of Pride and Prejudice staring Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen. Film goers will be able to recognise many of the rooms.
