Since February 2003 Jazz Aberdeen has presented over 500 live jazz events in Aberdeen featuring local and international artists. These performances have attracted a total audience of over 40,000 and have greatly contributed to developing Aberdeen as a vibrant and culturally stimulating place to live and visit for its inhabitants and visitors alike. Bus. First Bus routes 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21 all have stops nearby on the Gallowgate.
Car. Free carparking is available after 6pm in the Gallowgate public carpark, opposite the Blue Lamp.
General. The Blue Lamp is easily recognised on the Gallowgate by the Blue Lamp hanging outside the door. There is a public bar in addition to the music venue. The venue is accessible to wheelchairs.
Rail. Aberdeen Railways station is within walking distance of the venue.
