An aviation museum which allows visitors to get close to some 50 aircraft. These include the hellicopter collection, military aircraft from propeller training aircraft to Mach 2 Jet fighters and commercial aircraft. There are historic 60 year old RAF buildings including Bellman aircraft hangar and authentic wooden RAF huts and a World War II Home Front Exhibition as well as a Falkland Exhibition. Visitors can learn about the history of local RAF Squadrons including 616 (South Yorkshire) Squadron which fought in the Battle of Britain,sit in the cockpit of an aircraft or try the flight simulator.
