Andover Museum traces Andover's history from the stone age to post medieval. Exhibits include the 4,000 years old Beaker burial found near Chilbolton; there is pottery, a copper dagger, shale beads and two pairs of gold earrings. The Museum also covers Andover in Victorian times; with information about the The Weyhill Sheep Fair, the workhouse scandal of 1846. You can find out about transport, schools, and local businesses. Meanwhile the Geology and Natural History section has the the bones of a woolly mammoth and charts the arrival of the first humans in the area during the Stone Age.
