An evening walk on around Castle Hill near Almondbury, Huddersfield to enjoy the longest day and the shortest night of the year on and around the ancient site of Castle Hill. At this time of year the Sun shines down on the Earth directly at the furthest point in the Northern Hemisphere giving us the long summer evenings. So what better way than to cool down on the Hill on our walk and see some of the county's most loved countryside and learn a little more of its ancient past! Please bring waterproofs & warm clothing and wear suitable footwear. Some moderate slopes and a number of stiles. Free but booking is essential. Sorry no dogs allowed.
