Agrippina

Agrippina, 8 St. Martin's Lane, London, WC2N 4ES.
Agrippina was only Handel’s third full-length opera. The plot centres on Agrippina machinations to ensure that her son Nero succeeds to the throne of Rome. The cheerful hypocrisy of almost the entire cast of regal politicians, the ease with which they conceal their true interests with exalted sentiments provides a comic plot which owes more to farce than epic.
