Meadowsuite was operating as a mobile facility back in the days of open reel stereo machines, recording soloists, acoustic instrumentalists and small groups. Today in the studio live sound goes straight to a hard disc and sessions can employ up to 48 dedicated digital tracks.
16 live channels from the mixing desk into each track could result in as many as 768 individual first generation sounds in the final computer mixdown.
For larger groups (choirs etc) we still provide location recording,depending on the suitability of the venue. We also have a design service for CD jewel case inserts and disc labels.

TIMEPIECES (pictured above) is the latest album by Robbie Ellis who operates Meadowsuite. Robbie has been composing music and songs for many years.
This collection takes the common man’s journey from the year 1034 to 2000. This vast period of almost a thousand years is divided into seventy year spans, once considered to be a long life for most people.
The landscape and weather are represented on this album, but Robbie felt it was important for him to try to get inside the minds of the people
who lived and worked here so long ago.
