Moira Furnace

Moira Furnace, Furnace Lane, Moira, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE12 6AT.
Moira Furnace is a 19th century blast furnace. It houses touchscreens, hands-on interactives and displays showing how the furnace worked and the history of the buildings on the site.
Visitors can enjoy a tour of the museum. There are also craft workshops where craftsmen produce pottery, soap, and stoneware.
The site has a woodland area, "Little Smelters" adventure playground and an under 5’s area.
Tow paths, cycle routes and walks can also be enjoyed.
