Old Town Jail
Old Town Jail, St John’s Street, Stirling, Stirlingshire, FK8 1EA.
The Old Town Jail was first opened in 1847. The jail recreates Victorian prison life. Visitors can experience a prison tour, where they can take in a birds eye view of the city from the prisons rooftop, and catch a glimpse of life in a large prison today. Visitors will travel round the dark corridors inspecting the cells and will experience the atmosphere of jail life. There is also an opportunity to dress up and enjoy the activities section.
