Scampston Hall

Scampston Hall, Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 8NG.
The House dates from 1690 but was extensively remodeled between 1795 and 1800 by the architect Thomas Leverton.

The garden, which was first begun in 1999, was created by the internationally renowned designer Piet Oudolf whose innovative style is to our times as Gertrude Jekyll was to the last century. All the work and propagation was done by the in-house gardening team over a period of 5 years, supervised by the designer
