Bo'ness and Kinneil railway includes an exhibition, which tells the story of the railways in Scotland. Collections include locomotives, railway buildings, carriages, wagons and equipment. There is also a demonstration workshop.
The train journey passes the southern shore of the Firth of Forth then climbs to Birkhill. Here, a short walk throught the woodland takes visitors to the Avon Gorge. Set in the hillside, visitors will find birkhill fireclay mines.
