Bure Valley Railway

Bure Valley Railway, Aylsham Station, Norwich Road, Aylsham, Norfolk, NR11 6BW.
Visitors can see the Norfolk countryside from the Bure Valley is Norfolk's longest narrow guage railway and runs 9 miles between Aylsham and Wroxham stopping at the stations of Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall. The railway has both steam and diesel locomotives and they have mostly been purpose built for the railway. A footpath and cycle track runs alongside the railway and walkers have the opportunity to walk the path in one direction and take the train back.

Note: Up to 5 trains a day run every day betwen April and September; trains also run daily during school holidays. There are services available most weekends the rest of the year. Contact the railway for details.
