Dingles Steam Village
Dingles Steam Village, Milford Lifton, Devon, PL16 0AT .
Dingles Steam Village posesses over 45 steam engines; some are normally at shows round the country but over 20 should be on display as well as examples of early petrol and diesel machines. Industrial engines also form an important part of the exhibition and these and two road engines are in steam every open day powered by a diesel fired industrial boiler called 'Bertie'. Visitors can also see the collection of early road signs, as well as many items of early fairground art and fairground transport. The village also offers walks by the river, cafe, picnic tables and a play area.
