Tiltridge Vineyard
Tiltridge Vineyard, Upper Hook Road, Upton Upon Severn, Worcestershire, WR8 0SA.
Tiltridge Vineyard is situated in the Severn Valley approximately one mile west of the attractive riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn and close to the Malvern Hills.
Three varieties of vine were originally planted, two of German stock called Schonburger and Huxelrebe and a French variety called Seyval Blanc. The wines are typical of the English style, and have earned considerable success at competitions. In 1994 the vineyard won a Bronze Award in the national English Wine of the Year competition and "Wine of the Year" in the South West Vineyards Association annual competition.
