Blackpool Pleasure Beach is Britain's most popular tourist attraction. Opened in 1896, the 45 acre park has one of the world's biggest collections of white knuckle rides including the Ice Blast which caterpaults visitors over 200 feet into the air. There are over 10 rollercoasters including the Grand National, the Pepsi Max Big One, Avalanche and Wild Mouse. Within the Pleasure Beach there is a theme park especially for children complete with log flumes and adventure car ride.There are over 45 restaurants on the site plus a variety of spectacular shows running throughout the day.
