Clearly seen from everywhere in Blackpool, Blackpool Tower is 518 feet high and a Grade 1 listed building. It has a full programme of entertainments plus lifts every 5 minutes to the Tower Top. On a clear day you can see as far as North Wales, the Lake District, the Trough of Bowland and as the sun sets on a clear evening, The Isle of Man is visible across the Irish Sea. Visitors can post mail in the highest postbox in Britain or test their nerves by stepping out on the walk of faith glass floor, a two inch clear panel which looks down to the promenade below.
