Birdworld is one of Britain's largest bird parks and also includes Underwater World and Jenny Wren Farm. The park itself consists of 26 acres of aviaries in landscaped and colourful gardens. The collection of birds has been built up over 32 years and includes lots of colourful characters as well as some of the rarest birds in the world. The collection includes a Hyacinth Macaw, as well as a vast range of birds from tiny finches to giant ostriches and talking parrots to diving penguins.

There is a strong breeding programme at Birdworld, and one of the site's greatest attractions, the Humboldt Penguin, has been bred successfuly and distributed to many other zoos in Great Britain.

Note: The park is open on a limited basis in winter on weekdays. Underwater World and the Puddleduck restaurants are closed, The park is full open at weekends. Last admissions an hour before closing time.
