Hemalayaa, who has a body which cannot be confused with the mountain range of the same name, is a fitness expert who can put her toes bhind her ears at the drop of a sequined head-dress. Her previous work The Bollywood Dance Workout will be known to extras from numerous adverts for financial products. Hemalayaa learnt yoga and Indian dance from her father at a very early age and went on to study yoga, philosophy and meditation as well as Asana. she shares her intimate knowledge of this ancient art form, which was practiced by the Apsara dancers in Indian mythological times.
Hemalayaa claims to teach women to “connect with their sensual inner goddess” through sacred dance instilling confidence, joy, and poise.
